Provisional finding
The target review is not automatically a Gish gallop merely because it is long or skeptical of a controversial hypothesis. Its strongest review path is to test a representative set of proxy, chronology, and alternative-explanation claims, then compare whether the paper’s cumulative conclusion follows from independently supported objections. The explicit rhetorical allegation is itself docketable, but it should not substitute for scientific source review.
